Catering FAQs
How do I place an order and what is your availability?
We specialize in large-format catering, making us the perfect fit for office lunches, events, productions, and private gatherings as small as 20 guests.
Head to our Toast page to place your catering order. Because we slow-marinate our chicken overnight and prep our food entirely from scratch, we require a strict 2-day lead time on all small orders. For larger catering orders, please inquire directly via the form on our Toast page.
What catering service levels do you offer?
We offer three straightforward service tiers to perfectly fit your event's size and style:
- Pick up and delivery: Smaller catering orders can be placed directly online via Toast for either kitchen pickup or automated delivery within our standard 10-mile radius. Because size is a major factor, large catering orders cannot be processed online for delivery and must be submitted through our custom inquiry form. In-person pickups are located at Jikoni @ Crafted Kitchen, 672 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90021.
- Drop off and set up: Perfect for larger gatherings. This tier covers hand-delivered catering—including events outside our standard 10-mile delivery zone. Our team handles all the heavy lifting, beautifully arranging the buffet line with clear signage for every dish before leaving you to enjoy your event.
- Full service: Our professional staff remains on-site for the entire duration of your event to manage food service flawlessly. This format can be completely customized to your needs, whether you prefer a staff-served buffet line or individually plated small bites passed around cocktail-style.
Note: Kuku does not offer formal, seated plated dining services; those bespoke experiences are handled exclusively by our sister brand, Jikoni.
What is your delivery radius?
We provide delivery within a 10-mile radius of our Arts District DTLA kitchen location. If your delivery address sits outside this 10-mile perimeter, you will need to submit an inquiry form so our team can review the logistics and quote your order directly. Do you offer corporate accounts or recurring catering?
Absolutely! We routinely work with office managers and production companies to set up recurring weekly or bi-weekly catering rotations. For corporate orders, our menu items can be configured as family-style large trays or individual packages depending on your office workflow.
How do you secure the food during transit?
We prioritize food safety and presentation management. All catering orders are packed into specialized delivery boxes sealed tightly with tamperproof tape to guarantee nothing shifts or is opened during transit. Furthermore, our house-bottled beverages feature snap-in, tamperproof lids.
